We have had an eventful 2016 filled with great achievements for the SPE Middle East Region as exemplified by the 2016 SPE ATCE held in Dubai with an excellent participation and strong programme. Nominations for International and Regional Awards in both Technical and Professional categories for 2017 are now open and I encourage you to nominate your fellow professionals for these awards. Awardees were recognised for their achievements at the SPE Regional Awards held at the Heavy Oil Conference in Kuwait last December.
