New Sustainability Tool

The American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME) has developed a new tool for sharing best practices in sustainability in engineering education, mainly at the university level. It’s called SEEKRR, which stands for Sustainable Engineering Education Key Resource Repository. It includes what’s working across several disciplines and is a living database intended for additions. The AIME Sustainability Steering Committee will review submissions for inclusion. SPE’s point person on the committee is Johana Dunlop. Access the tool on the AIME website. If you’d like to learn more about the tool or the committee, contact AIME Executive Director, Michele Lawrie-Munro, at lawriemunro@aimehq.org or 1-303-325-5185.
