Dear Colleagues,

I am delighted to announce the 10 Year Anniversary of SPE Middle East, North Africa and India.

On 23 October 2003, SPE opened its office in Dubai to support its members and activities in the region. Since that day, the paid professional membership across the region has grown from 3,546 to a significant 11,178 (as of July 2013).

Activities and initiatives to support professional members and students, in personal and professional growth, have increased over the years and the society has become well regarded in the industry and region.

During the coming months we will be looking back over the last 10 years to celebrate and acknowledge this milestone.

As the Regional Director, it is my aim for SPE to continue its growth in the region and I encourage all of you as members to volunteer your time and experience. By volunteering you can influence programmes and activities that drive our mission with your knowledge and experience, enhance your leadership skills, meet and work with other members from across the globe and contribute in your area of interest at both the local and international level.
