SPE-KFUPM Bids Farewell to its Graduating Officers and Members

School is the place to be. School is the home of leaders. School is the first step towards a successful career. School is more than technical knowledge. These were common thoughts during the farewell banquet held by the petroleum engineering department at KFUPM.

In the student speech before dinner, Mohammed AlGhazal, the event chairman, congratulated the graduating students for the successful completion of their degrees.

"Life is not measured by the number of years, but rather by life in years," Mohammed AlGhazal said. "I would safely say that the years that we spent at KFUPM are one of those years that we lived and enjoyed well."

In a heartfelt speech, Professor Bukhamsin, the petroleum engineering department chairman, praised the graduating students for their commitment and perseverance.

"As I look at this gathering, I see future leaders of the petroleum industry," Professor Bukhamsin added.
