SPE Dallas Office Has Temporarily Moved

SPE’s Dallas office has temporarily moved to Allen, Texas, during a renovation of the Richardson office. The move took place during the weekend of 1-4 December and the Richardson building is completely vacant and now awaiting the start of the renovation. The expected construction start date is early February, and the final construction completion date is expected to be in November, with anticipated move in date to be around mid-December 2012.

Download the New Reserves Classification Guide

Guidelines for Application of the Petroleum Resources Management System (PRMS), which provides information and examples on use of the PRMS, is now available for free download. The new guidelines are the work of subject matter experts from SPE, the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Society of Exploration Geophysicists, the Society of Petroleum Evaluation Engineers, and the World Petroleum Council. Congratulations to the 2011 International Award winners

Join us in congratulating the 2011 SPE International Award recipients!  The SPE Board of Directors approved the 2011 International Award recipients at their recent meeting. Fifteen international award committees recommended these winners to the board because of their outstanding and significant technical, professional, and service contributions to SPE and the petroleum industry. The winners were chosen from a pool of first-rate candidates. SPE President Alain Labastie will present the awards to the winners at ATCE in Denver.
