The American Institute of Mining, Metallurgical, and Petroleum Engineers (AIME) has developed a new tool for sharing best practices in sustainability in engineering education, mainly at the university level. It’s called SEEKRR, which stands for Sustainable Engineering Education Key Resource Repository.

Richardson, Texas, USA (June 2013) – The Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) has named Helge Hove Haldorsen, vice president of strategy and portfolio for Statoil Development and Production North America, as 2015 president of the international professional society. Haldorsen, who is based in Houston, Texas, will take office as president-elect on 2 October 2013 at the close of SPE’s Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition in New Orleans, LA, USA. Read more »

PetroWiki will be the online resource to research and share knowledge about E&P industry operations, ranging from basic engineering calculations to best practices appropriate to specific regions, formations, or resource types.
