They have successfully formed several sub-committees while enduring a heavy workload, as well as modified and relaunched their spe.utt.org website. The SPE Student Chapter at University of Trinidad and Tobago held a field trip to TOFCO, where fabrication of offshore platforms performed, visiting the world famous Trinidad Pitch Lake. 
Members of this chapter recently participated in SPETT Distinguished Lecturer series. They have also formed a liaison with their sponsoring Trinidad and Tobago SPE Section to establish a development plan enforcing greater interactions. Their service projects include: developing Resource Pool of Projects for younger students; a Charity Drive; and a fundraising BBQ.
