On 10th December, Assistant Professor Mileva Radonjic of Louisiana State University gave a technical lecture titled “Wellbore Cement Integrity Issues in Carbon Capture and Storage”. This activity was supported by Petromentor International Education Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. The students gained a lot of useful information from this session.
Members of the Montana Tech chapter recently participated in a Thanksgiving community food drive. In addition to collecting food from the campus, they also purchased $200 of food, which was then distributed. The chapter also took part in the Montana Tech Christmas Bazaar, where over $7,000 was raised by the chapter.

More than 1,000 children from local schools attended the festival. The UT&T chapter used their YouTube channel to raise awareness of their annual Charity Christmas Buffet Breakfast. Over 140 people attended. Proceeds from the event will go toward two important charitable projects that the UT&T Chapter plans to embark upon: – Water collection for hurricane victims – Food hampers for underprivileged families
