On April 25, Chengdu Study Group held the first sub-regional SPE Student Paper Contest in cooperation with Southwest Petroleum University (SWPU) and Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT). Congratulations to the Tulsa Chapter, who received first prize in Tulsa University’s “Finest Organization” Award for 2010-2011. Student organizations within the University are assessed based on outstanding membership involvement, programming, community service, and student benefits. The prize was $500 from the Tulsa University Student Association.
