The Palawan State University student chapter held its annual outreach program entitled “Pamaskong Handog ng” in Tagabinet, Palawan, Philippines. Forty-five members of the Palawan State student chapter, along with faculty members, trekked seven kilometers of muddy fields for two hours to reach Purok Kayasan, a desolated small town in Tagabinet, primarily composed of Tagbanua natives.
The student chapter prepared goods composed of rice, canned goods, milk and old clothes. The goods were distributed to seventy Tagbanua and Batuk families. Along with the goods, school supplies were given to small children.
Congratulations, Palawan student chapter for your hard work and giving to others!
