Congratulations to SPE Student Chapter of the Month- University of Trinidad and Tobago!

Ambassador Lecturer Speaks to Rivers State Chapter

Prince Adagwe, Schlumberger, an SPE Ambassador Lecturer, spoke recently on the status of the worldwide petroleum industry to members of the Rivers State University of Science and Technology SPE Student Chapter. More than 90 students and guests attended. The Ambassador Lecturer program is designed to connect students with young professionals who are 35 years old or younger.

Petroleum Engineering Summer School (PESS) Holds Summer Session

PESS recently wrapped up two 5-day seminar sessions held in Dubrovnik, Croatia. PESS is as an academic program for advanced studies of the Inter-University Centre, Dubrovnik. The international seminars are organized by the Executive Director of PESS, a professor of the Petroleum Engineering Department, School of Mining, Geology & Petroleum Engineering at the University of Zagreb, and co-directors who are distinguished professors from the universities all over the world. The mission of PESS is the exchange of knowledge at academic and industry level. Continue reading
