Indian School of Mines Soccer Night

To promote healthy teamwork and as a bid to ease some stress among the burgeoning students of ISM, the SPE ISM chapter organised a football match under floodlights between BG Warriors and Shell Super-kings, the names chosen very germane. The game was played on 21st September at 21:30 IST in the Upper playground of the campus. It was inaugurated by Dr. Ajay Mandal, the faculty sponsor of the chapter. The game went on for about an hour but could find no clear winner as both teams matched each other stroke for stroke. The game went into extra time and finally after two hours of competitive and enjoyable football, Shell Super-kings defeated the Warriors by 3-1 in extra time.

The game rejuvenated the students and left some happy memories for all the final year students participated. This game also went a long way in giving a much needed respite to the students from their intense academic schedule.
