SPE Tyumen Student Chapter Organizes a Conference, Meets With Leoben Student Chapter

The 1st International Oil & Gas Forum was organized by Tyumen State Oil & Gas University SPE Student Chapter. Papers were presented by students who were elected to go to “East Meets West” ISTC in Krakow, Poland. In general, young scientists had no experience of participating in such events. 2011 SPE President Alain Labastie Visits Tyumen State Oil and Gas U. in Russia

studentchapter2011 SPE President Alain Labastie recently visited Tyumen State Oil and Gas University to learn more about the university, exchange knowledge and plan workshops, and to meet and establish good relations with the TSOGU SPE Student Chapter and other oil & gas professionals in the region. The university met Mr. Labastie with a traditional bread-and-salt welcome and Russian folk songs. Continue reading

An Opportunity to Achieve Gold Standard Now Available to All Student Chapters

There is now a Gold Standard opportunity available to all student chapters.  Each student chapter that submits their completed annual report by the 1 April deadline not only is eligible to compete for the  Outstanding Student Chapter Award, but will also have an opportunity to achieve Gold Standard.  Continue reading

Congratulations to SPE Student Chapter of the Month- University of Trinidad and Tobago!
