Advertising Information

SPE offers advertisers a highly qualified audience of E&P industry professionals. We offer companies several ways to reach this valuable target audience. SPE's Sales Department will work with you to determine the best approach for advertising your products or services to reach your target.

Advertising Policy

SPE accepts advertising (print and electronic) for goods and services that, in the publisher’s judgment, address the technical or professional interests of its readers. SPE reserves the right to refuse to publish any advertising it considers to be unacceptable.

Web Banners

The SPE website is increasingly recognized as a technical resource for industry professionals. In a 2002 Gulf Research study, SPE.org was identified as the "most visited industry web site." SPE.org currently has between 150,000 and 200,000 unique visitors each month. These are the customers you want to reach.

Certain pages on the SPE website are sponsored. Advertising is not allowed on these pages. Most other pages could include advertising, but a limited number of spaces are available on each page. For more information about availability contact a sales representative.

Banner Options and Specifications

Banners will be linked to your company’s website. All banners must include the sponsoring company’s name. Corporate logos or icons are acceptable.

Banner ads must be 30K or less in file size, and can be animated .gif or Flash (.swf). The banner file must be provided to SPE - we cannot link to a banner file on your website.
