International Awards Nomination Procedures
International Awards
Award nominations are due 15 February each year. Awards are presented at the SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition. If the nominee is still eligible in subsequent years, they can be considered again for the award.
- Identify the appropriate award from the list of honors and awards, checking the criteria listed.
- Write a description of why the candidate should be recognized.
- Provide a biographical profile of the nominee, including, if possible, a current resume (c.v.)
- List any worldwide, national, local, company/academic, or public service contributions not covered in the biographical profile.
- Complete the appropriate nomination form (see box at right for forms).
- Submit all information above by February 15 to the contact shown on the nomination form or online.
When the nomination is received, SPE will attach to the nomination a list of the candidate's SPE service record – offices and positions held at both Society and section levels.
