Regional Distinguished Corporate Support Award Criteria
The SPE Regional Distinguished Corporate Support Award recognizes outstanding support by an organization and distinguished service to SPE members in the region through excellence in leadership and through the commitment of time, energy and professional resources. It is intended to recognize companies that help make contributions to the support of SPE membership, programs, and events and not solely through financial assistance to the Society or the petroleum industry.
The award will be presented on recommendation of a regional Corporate Award Committee appointed by the Regional Director based on nominations received from section leaders within the region.
The award will be presented to a designated company representative at an SPE section, region, or topical meeting as determined by the Regional Director.
Nominations and Elections
- Nominations may be submitted to the Regional Director or the designated region’s award committee by any member in the region.
- Nominations must be received by the Regional Director before 15 March.
- Each nomination must include a full and complete statement of the reasons for proposing the candidate, and sufficient supporting documentation to enable the Regional Director or the award committee to judge the candidate's worthiness to receive the award.
