Section Awards
Section Awards recognize individual contributions to the section. The awards do not require approval by the SPE Board of Directors and may be ordered by the section chairperson or secretary.
Past Section Chairperson Award
The Past Section Chairperson Award is a memento for presentation to past
section chairpersons in appreciation for dedication and service to their
sections. The SPE logo is imprinted on a gold tone medallion and the
personalization includes the recipient's name, section name and years of
service inscribed on a gold tone plate. This attractive recognition piece
is presented in an 8 ½" x 9½" frame, two-tone walnut finish, including
gold highlights and double matt. The cost of the plaque is USD 80.00 plus

Section Service Award
Sections can recognize outstanding contributions by members to the section with the Section Service Award. The award is an 8 in. x 10 in. black wood base with silver plate, and includes the SPE logo in blue, with the citation in black letters. The cost is USD 85.00 plus shipping. Allow 8 to 10 weeks for delivery.
The Society's Board of Directors stipulates that the Section Service Award
should be given only for outstanding contributions to the section and never for
