Evaluation of Polymer-Injection Projects in Brazil

Petrobras has implemented three polymer-injection pilot projects during the last 2 decades in the Canto do Amaro, Carmópolis, and Buracica onshore fields. The first one is in the middle of the operation, and the last two are finished. The main objective of the pilot projects was to gain practical knowledge of the process for possible future expansion to other reservoirs and even to offshore fields.
