As long as gas wells produce at high pressures, most of the lessons learned in oil fields will apply (with minor modifications). As pressures decline, the differences between oil fields and gas fields become progressively more significant. In cases where pressures fall below about 50 psig, oil-field analogies become largely irrelevant. Through brief, informal presentations this workshop aims to facilitate information sharing about the design and operational considerations that must be applied in order to optimize the operation and performance of gas wells from the inflow, up the tubing, and through wellsite facilities and gathering systems. With the goal of bringing together facilities engineers, deliquification specialists and field operations personnel, this event will create an atmosphere in which attendees may engage in frank and open discussion of critical issues.
