Principal Sponsors

Your commitment of US$20,000 as a principal sponsor entitles you to:

Insert one (1) item bearing information about your organisation in the conference satchel.
One page colour advertisement in the Conference Programme.
Prominent signage on the stage during the conference Opening Ceremony and Keynote Session.
Prominent signage adjacent to the conference registration area.
Recognition in the Conference Opening Ceremony.

Opening Ceremony

US$20,000

The Opening Ceremony at the Conference emphasises the conference theme and sets the scene for the issues and information to be presented during the following three days. Approximately 600-800 persons are expected to attend the Opening Ceremony. The sponsor will receive:

PowerPoint slide with company's name and logo projected during the Opening Ceremony.
Opportunity to deliver a (10) ten minutes remarks at the Opening Ceremony.

Conference CD-ROM Proceedings

US$20,000 (Two sponsors at US$10,000 each)

Being the most important technical documentation for the conference, the CD-ROM Proceedings contains papers which are represented at the conference. The Proceedings is an excellent source of reference for the delegates and people in the oil and gas industry. As a sponsor, you will receive:

Conference Luncheons

US$17,500 per luncheon

Luncheon will be provided each day at the Jakarta Convention Centre to all full conference registrants. These topical luncheons will provide the attendants with the opportunity for networking and at the same time offering the sponsor an opportunity to demonstrate hospitality to conference delegates. Your contribution on each luncheon entitles you to:

A slide bearing your company's name and logo projected on the screen in the luncheon area and placement cards on all luncheon tables.
Eight (8) complimentary luncheon tickets for each sponsorship to the luncheon for the day sponsored.

Audio-Visual Equipment

US$15,000 (Three sponsors at US$5,000 each)

All Technical Session Rooms and Author Check-In Room require audio-visual equipment such as laptop computer, LCD (Microsoft PowerPoint Projector), as well as other necessary audio visual equipment. Your contribution will be rewarded with:

A slide bearing your company's name and logo projected on the screen in all of the technical session rooms.

SPE Asia Pacific Regional Student Paper Contest

US$12,000 Two sponsors at US$6,000 each)

Contribution received for this segment will be used for travelling/accommodation expenses of the winners to attend the SPE International Student Paper Contest, held during the 2008 SPE Annual Technical Conference and Exhibition, in Denver, Colorado, U.S.A. As a sponsor, you are entitled to:

Acknowledgement during the presentation award (Wednesday Luncheon).
One (1) table of eight persons reserved (for each US$6,000 sponsorship) for the student award presentation luncheon.
Nomination of a senior representative to award the prizes to the winners (in conjunction with SPE representative).

Conference Reception

The reception will give the delegates/exhibitors and the conference participants the opportunity to renew and establish acquaintances. Hors-d'oeuvres and drinks will be served. The sponsor(s) of the reception will receive:

Ten (10) complimentary guest passes (access to exhibits area only) for each day of the conference.

Conference Preview

The brochure will be distributed to more than 8,000 SPE and IATMI members and will be posted on the SPE and IATMI websites. It is the trademark of the SPE conference and exhibition and it contains technical programme, list of papers/events, general information, registration forms, hotel booking form, etc. The sponsor(s) will be entitled to:

One (1) full-page complimentary black & white or 2-colour advertisement (if desired) in the Conference Preview.
Two (2) complimentary full conference registrations. (Registration includes access to the technical sessions and exhibit area, daily luncheon, daily coffee/tea breaks, one CD-ROM Proceedings, and conference reception).

Young Professionals Workshop

US$7,500

This workshop will provide an opportunity for young professionals (YPs) to meet with their peers and senior industry executives to address issues of importance to them. Pertinent issues relating to the YPs working in the industry will be addressed at the workshop. There will be presentations from industry professionals, coupled with structured discussions. It is also an opportunity for informal networking with other YPs and panellists over lunch. The sponsor will receive:

All conference delegates will be provided with the conference writing pads and pens. The sponsor will receive:

Directional Signage

US$5,000

Clear signposts will be in place to direct conference delegates entering the Jakarta Convention Centre to the various conference venues, exhibition hall and other key functions/events (with the exceptions mentioned in the specific events, e.g. daily luncheon, etc.). The signage sponsor will be entitled to:

Company's name and logo on all signage used for the above purposes.

Door Prizes

US$5,000

To acknowledge and to appreciate the conference delegates' participation in the APOGCE, special door prizes (for example laptop computers, I-pods, cameras, cell phones and watches) will be held at the Exhibition Hall on the last day of the event, Thursday afternoon, 1 November. The sponsor will receive:

Education Day

The Education Day is an initiative to introduce students to the discipline of petroleum engineering, and the industry in general. It will be an important feature of the conference. Up to 50 students will be invited to attend the conference on the last two days of the conference and exhibition (31 October and 1 November). In addition to a scheduled guided tour of the exhibition, industry professionals will be invited to share their experience with the students and deliver talks on topics of general interest and relevance to the industry.
