Conference Proceedings

Advance full conference registration guarantees one set of CD-ROM Proceedings and is available for collection at the conference. Additional Proceedings may be pre-ordered on the Advance Registration Form or purchased during registration hours at the conference for A$275/US$260 member and A$330/US$310 nonmember. Participants are encouraged to order CD-ROM Proceedings in advance, as on-site availability is limited.

Hotel Accommodations

Hotel accommodation can be reserved at the InterContinental Perth Burswood and Holiday Inn Burswood, where a room block with “special rate” is being held for 2008 APOGCE conference delegates. Conference delegates are advised to stay at the InterContinental Perth Burswood and Holiday Inn Burswood, as it is within the same complex of the Burswood Convention Centre. Please complete the Hotel Booking Form to ensure your hotel accommodation during the conference. Alternatively, you may visit www.intercontinental.com/APOGCE or www.holidayinn.com.au/APOGCE for online reservation.

Immigration/VISA

A valid passport with a visa is required for all non-Australian citizens attending the conference. Visas can be applied for at any office of the Australian High Commission, Embassy or Consulate. An invitation letter to facilitate the application of visa will be issued to attendees upon request. It is important that people wishing to travel to Australia apply for their visas well in advance. Please ensure that your passport is also valid for the period of stay you are visiting Australia.

Shuttle Bus Service

Shuttle service will be available to and from the conference venue and the Central Business District, Perth, Australia.

Conference Dinner

Enjoy a casual evening with industry friends and new acquaintances. The Conference Dinner is a relaxed and informal occasion for delegates, local SPE members and their partners to enjoy. The dinner is a banquet style feast, including food stalls serving Western Australian seafood, Asian, Indian and Italian cuisine, along with a cheese and dessert buffet. Superb Western Australian Wines will also be a feature of the evening.

This is an evening to sit back and relax after a full day at the conference and exhibition!

Golf Tournament

The Burswood Park Golf Course presents players with a unique opportunity to play exhilarating golf with the city of Perth skyline as a backdrop, in a delightful riverside setting.

The day will commence with registration at 0700 hours, followed by breakfast at 0730 hours and tee-off time at 0830 hours. The cost includes green fees, buggy, breakfast, lunch and drinks on course, followed by a Post Function Sausage Sizzle and presentations/prizes.
