Material Freight and Handling Services

SPE has appointed Freeman as the exclusive contractor to control access to the Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel of all delivery and freight trucks, administer assignment and usage of loading docks, and supervise the Teamsters Union Labor responsible for the loading and unloading of freight shipments.

All exhibitors must submit the Material Handling Order Form directly to Freeman. Freeman will begin accepting advance warehouse shipments on Monday, 25 February. To avoid additional after deadline charges, materials must arrive by Friday, 26 March.

In partnership with Freeman, SPE and ICoTA have established a special rate for the actual machinery/equipment you will be displaying in your exhibit. This special rate could save you up to or more than 50% of the normal material handling rates. For additional details and information, please refer to the Freeman Machinery Rates Form.

Shipments to show site must not arrive prior to 0800, Monday, 31 March. Shipments arriving prior to this date will be refused. Freeman must receive all shipments and deliver them to each exhibitor’s booth.

Should you require rigging equipment and labor to install and/or dismantle your display, complete the Freeman Forklift/Rigging Labor Order Form.

All outbound shipments require a Material Handling Agreement and appropriate labels. Freeman can prepare these for you in advance and deliver them to your booth. To take advantage of this service, complete the Freeman Outbound Shipping Order Form.
