
For HSE 08 in Nice, the Programme Committee is delighted to introduce a new approach to poster presentations to promote discussion and interaction among the authors and participants: the session is now called the “Knowledge Sharing Session” as the intent is to share best practices and encourage networking. The Knowledge Sharing Session will be open on each day of the event 09.00 – 16.30 hours.
To benefit from the evolution of presentation technologies, authors are
encouraged to present their work using a laptop presentation, typically a Power
Point slide show. This should ease the preparation of the presentation and
allow more interactivity. However, classical poster type presentation is still
permissible. You may present with a class poster, a laptop presentation, or
both.
To motivate authors to participate in the Knowledge Sharing session, the
Knowledge Sharing Sub-Committee will award a trophy to the best Knowledge
Sharing Presentation in each of the five Categories. Presentation of the awards
will be during the Closing Session on Thursday 17th April 2008. We highly
recommend that you stay until the end of the event.
Antoine and Lee will be managing the Knowledge Sharing sessions, and ensuring that the presentation adheres to the guidelines in order that it can be nominated for awards. For further queries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact one of them.
