Dues Waiver Policy
In certain cases, SPE will waive dues for members who are disabled, unemployed, or completing compulsory service following graduation.
Disability or Unemployment
SPE policy provides for dues waivers for SPE members who are disabled or
unemployed. A dues waiver for unemployment or disability may be granted for a
maximum of two consecutive years. Requests for a dues waiver must be
submitted annually.To apply for a dues waiver, please submit your request in

Post-Graduation Compulsory Service
SPE Student Members in some countries are required to serve compulsory military or social service upon graduation. A dues waiver for compulsory military or social service may be granted for a maximum of two consecutive years. Requests for dues waivers must be submitted annually.
