Reinstate Membership

If you were previously an SPE member, and would like to join SPE again, you have two options:

  1. Pay Back Dues and Keep Original Join Date You can reinstate your old membership by paying the back dues for the unpaid year(s) of membership. To submit a reinstatement paying back dues, use our online form. This is most practical if your membership lapsed only one to three years previously, but sometimes members may want to bridge a longer gap. Reinstatement by paying back dues allows you to keep your original join date and reflects no lapse in membership.
  2. Receive a New Join Date: If you do not want to submit payment for the back dues, you can complete the application for new members.  Your original join date will be modified to reflect the new date you rejoin.  Please access the site with your current login and password.

Reinstatement Process

Select the appropriate form from above and the associated dues amount will be charged to your credit card. If you cannot use a credit card, or have questions about what you would owe, contact Customer Service at service@spe.org or +1.972.952.9393.  Reinstatement paying back dues will take 2-3 business days to post to your account and services restored.

Reinstatement Fee
This fee applies to all reinstatements and is in addition to the fees for dues.

Category 1 countries USD 20
Category 2 countries with salary more than USD 1,500/month  USD 20
Category 2 countries with salary from USD 800 to USD 1,500/month  USD 10
