September, and December). It features papers covering horizontal and
directional drilling, drilling fluids, bit technology, sand control,
perforating, cementing, well control, completions, and drilling
operations. Both operational and management personnel find the materials

Online Journal
The online journal contains the same complete technical papers as the printed edition, and also includes online discussions, access to archived papers, and an index with links to subject-related papers and articles from SPE and other non-SPE sources.

Authors of papers presented at SPE meetings may select a technical journal for peer review at the time of manuscript submission. Manuscripts not presented at an SPE meeting are also welcome.
