SPE Opinion Panel Position

Deliverables and Expectations

Members of the SPE Opinion Panel will engage in various research efforts throughout the year as needed. The identities of the panel members will not be made public. All responses will kept confidential and will not be attributed to members directly. At times, panel members may be asked if their anonymous comments can be used in marketing materials.

The SPE Opinion Panel members will be asked to

• Complete up to 6 online surveys throughout the year. The surveys will need to be completed within 10 business days.
• Serve on online or in-person focus groups, depending on the research needs at the time.
• Participate in telephone interviews if needed.

Qualifications and Experience

Each panel member must be an SPE member in good standing.

Expected Time Commitment

The total time commitment will vary throughout the year, depending on if the panel member participates in focus groups. Survey completion should take no more than 15-30 minutes per survey. Telephone interviews may take up to 30 minutes each. Focus groups could take between 3 and 4 hours each.

About the panel

The SPE Opinion Panel members actively participate in providing feedback about the Society and its programs, as well as participate in industry and technical topic research. The results will be used to help shape the future development of SPE products and services.
