PetrisWINDS Recall Petrophysics Package (Petris) PetrisWINDS Recall PETROS 3 is the most recent release of Petris' petrophysical analysis package. Major improvements have been made in all areas of data handling and processing, particularly in the data correction, log modeling and interpretation areas. New analysis modules include a comprehensive, yet flexible and easy to use, deterministic log analysis module in which water saturation, net pay and log-derived permeability may be readily set up and run quickly. Reservoir Engineering and Simulation

COMET3 (Advanced Resources International) COMET3 is the industry-leading reservoir simulator for non-conventional oil and gas reservoirs. It is a fully three-dimensional, two-phase, finite difference simulator for modeling primary coalbed methane and gas shale production, and enhanced recovery from and carbon sequestration in these formation types. COMET3 is a triple-porosity, dual-permeability model with multiple gas sorption capability, and as such can accurately model low-rank coal and water-saturated gas shale reservoirs - where free gas and water storage in the matrix porosity is an important consideration.

PORE (Maurer) Abnormal formation pressure detection and estimation model used to determine pore, fracture and overburden pressures. Program uses Pennebaker plots to determine formation pore pressures from seismic velocity data.
