Understanding the history of innovation and invention in petroleum engineering is essential to shaping the industry's future. The Engineering and Technology History Wiki is a comprehensive collection of oral histories, milestones, and archival documents pertaining to the history of technology, developed by a partnership between the United Engineering Foundation, AIChE, AIME, ASCE, ASME, IEEE, SPE and SWE.

First Hand Histories record specific memories of working in the petroleum engineering industry. They are personal, informal memoirs, as opposed to a scholarly history of a topic or innovation.
