Palomar Resources has discovered likely commercial quantities of natural gas in its Rawicz-12 appraisal well at the Rawicz concession in southwestern Poland. The well flowed 4.1 MMscf/D of gas through a fixed 80/64-in. choke at a wellhead pressure of 205 psig. The gas produced during the tests contained no water or H2S vapors and was approximately 70% methane. Palomar (65%) is the operator with partner San Leon Energy (35%).
