Pakistan Petroleum (PPL) discovered gas and condensate at the Sharf X-1 exploration well in the Gambat South Block, located in the Sanghar district of the Sindh province, Pakistan. The well was drilled to a total depth of 3730 m and produced 42 MMcf/D of gas and 199 B/D of condensate through a 64/64-in. choke. PPL (65%) is the operator, with partners Government Holdings Private (25%) and Asia Resources Oil (10%).
