Drilling began on the West Kerendan-1 exploration well in Kalimantan, Indonesia. The well will target the Oligocene Berai formation carbonates and underlying Eocene-aged sandstone, which has a mean recoverable prospective resource potential of 910 Bcf of gas. Salamander Energy (70%) is the operator in partnership with Saka Energi (30%).
