Black Hills Corporation, a vertically integrated energy company, entered into an agreement to acquire SourceGas Holdings from investment funds managed by Alinda Capital Partners and GE Energy Financial Services for a total consideration of USD 1.89 billion. SourceGas operates four regulated natural gas utilities serving customers in Arkansas, Colorado, Nebraska, and Wyoming. It also operates a 512-mile intrastate natural gas pipeline in Colorado. The acquired company will be renamed Black Hills Energy.
