Wellesley Petroleum

Wellesley Petroleum has been granted consent by Petroleum Safety Authority Norway to drill the 35/12-6 S exploration well in production license 925 of the North Sea. The site lies in the northeastern portion of the North Sea at a water depth of 1,164 ft, approximately eight miles southwest of the Gjøa field and 11 miles northeast of Vega Sør. The well is being drilled by the semisubmersible mobile drilling rig Transocean Arctic.
