Amanda Eversole was appointed COO at the American Petroleum Institute (API). She will begin her appointment this fall. Eversole is currently the managing director and head of public affairs at JPMorgan Chase. Before that she spent 13 years at the US Chamber of Commerce in Washington, DC, where she served as president of the Chamber Technology Engagement Center, senior vice president of the US Chamber Center for Capital Markets Competitiveness, and chief of staff to Chamber President and CEO Thomas J. Donohue. Eversole graduated from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia, with a BBA and a minor in French. She holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School where she was a Palmer Scholar.
