A riser turret module is installed on the Eagle Louisiana, a modular capture vessel (MCV). The module connects subsea equipment to the vessel’s topside processing equipment and, by providing a barrier from a subsea well, it is a key component in the vessel’s safety system. The first MCV was delivered in 2013 to help direct diverted hydrocarbons in the event of a subsea well blowout.
