Trelleborg’s flowline insulation covers can withstand the extreme cold temperatures found at subsea depths and, when combined with a silicone liner, the extreme heat generated by hydrocarbons. The insulation covers are not molded directly to the pipe, which allows for easier access to the flow stream. They are made from a combination of silicone and polyurethane, which is poured in a liquid form and solidified to create a finished jacket unique to the application.
