Physical Simulations Made Easier With New Programming Language

Researchers from MIT, Adobe, the University of California at Berkeley, the University of Toronto, Texas A&M, and the University of Texas developed a new language for programming simulations. Requiring only one-tenth as much code as hand-optimized simulations, the program Simit facilitated simulations that were dozens or even hundreds times as fast as those written in existing simulation languages.
