Chevron appointed Maria Lindenberg as chief procurement officer. She succeeds Leo Lonergan, who retired from the company after 36 years of service. Lindenberg most recently served as general manager of supply chain management at Chevron’s southern Africa strategic business unit. She joined Chevron in 2007 as vice president of global downstream procurement. She then moved to general manager of contracting and procurement at Chevron’s Project Resources Company and assumed her most recent assignment, based in Luanda, Angola, in 2011.
