Melody Meyer

BP named Melody Meyer to its board of directors. Meyer retired from Chevron on 1 June 2016 after 37 years with the company. She is the former president of Chevron Asia Pacific Exploration and Production and has experience in global upstream operations, strategic and business planning, and major capital projects such as the Tengiz project in Kazakhstan. She was vice president of Chevron's Gulf of Mexico business unit in 2004 and became president of the Chevron Energy Technology Company in 2008.

Meyer holds a BS in mechanical engineering from Trinity University.
