The International Association of Oil and Gas Producers (IOGP) is accepting nominations for its biennial Outstanding Young Professional Award to inspire the next generation of leaders dedicated to promoting safe, responsible, and sustainable exploration and production (E&P) operations.
In association with the 2018 SPE Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Social Responsibility (HSSE-SR) Conference to be held 16–18 April in Abu Dhabi, the IOGP will recognize the achievements of a young professional with fewer than 10 years of professional E&P experience with the Outstanding Young Professional Award. The recipient must have demonstrated professional accomplishments and evidence of outstanding talent, dedication, and leadership in at least one aspect of HSSE-SR.
IOGP and SPE are looking to senior members of the SPE HSSE-SR community to nominate young professional candidates for the award. The nominee does not have to be an SPE member to qualify.

An invitation to join the Award & Young Professional Committees for the following annual SPE HSSE-SR Conference

Be a young professional with fewer than 10 years of professional experience in the upstream oil and gas industry
Be well-respected and in good standing within the community
Serve as a role model for other young professionals
Demonstrate noteworthy professional and personal achievement
Demonstrate commitment to excellence and proven leadership
Exhibit expertise, passion, and the ability to inspire others
Professional SPE members (with more than 10 years of experience) in the oil and gas industry can nominate young professionals. Members of the Award Committee are not eligible to nominate for this award while serving as a member of the committee and for a period of 2 years after the expiration of his or her term of service on the committee.
