PSG Changes Corporate Organizational Structure

Pump Solutions Group (PSG) named three of its executives as presidents of different geographic regions as part of a corporate restructuring program. Ueli Thuerig became president of PSG EMEA (Europe, Middle East, and Africa), Karl Buscher was named president of PSG Americas, and David Wang was appointed president of PSG Asia. Previously, Thuerig was president of PSG Europe and Buscher was senior vice president of PSG commercial. Wang was vice president of sales and business development for Asia Pacific. All three will report directly to PSG President Dean Douglas and will assume commercial and operational responsibilities for their respective regions. Thuerig came to PSG in 2012 when it acquired Maag, an Oberglatt, Switzerland, manufacturer of internal gear pump and pelletizing system technologies. He holds an MBA from the University of St. Gallen in Switzerland. Buscher joined PSG in 2011 as senior vice president of the newly created PSG commercial organization. Prior to PSG, Buscher spent more than 20 years with ITT. He holds a bachelor’s degree in general engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. Wang joined PSG in 2010. Before joining PSG, he worked for SPX Flow Technology, Tenaris/Exiros, and Frito Lay. Wang graduated from Wuhan University and also holds an MBA from Carnegie Mellon University.
