Ken Arnold

Ken Arnold has been named president of the Academy of Medicine, Engineering, and Science of Texas. A former member of the SPE Board of Directors and a three-time SPE Distinguished Lecturer, Arnold coauthored two facilities design textbooks and has written more than 50 articles on safety, project management, and facilities design. After working at Shell, he founded Paragon Engineering Services in 1980. AMEC purchased Paragon in 2005 and 2 years later, Arnold retired to form a consulting firm, K. Arnold Consulting. He joined WorleyParsons as a senior technical adviser in 2010. Arnold holds a BS and an MS in civil engineering from Cornell University and Tulane University, respectively.
