Tevin Vongvanich, SPE, has been appointed chief executive officer (CEO) of PTT, Thailand’s national oil and gas company. He will aid the company in finding a long-term supply of natural gas, as domestic supplies are likely to be depleted in the next 6 to 7 years and imports from Myanmar are expected to decline. Mostly recently, Vongvanich served as president and CEO of PTT Exploration and Production. He holds a BEng in chemical engineering from Chulalongkorn University, an MS in petroleum engineering from the University of Houston, and an MS in chemical engineering from Rice University. He completed a global leadership program at Harvard Business School.
