On behalf of the host SPE Sections including Pittsburgh, Appalachian, Northern West Virginia, Ohio Petroleum and East Kentucky we would like to cordially invite you to the 2024 Society of Petroleum Engineers Eastern Regional Meeting being held at Oglebay Resort in Wheeling, WV. This year the event will be held on 8-10 October and will include a reception, technical sessions over two days, a keynote luncheon, exhibits, and a golf outing.

The Technical Program Committee encourages you to help shape the technical program by submitting paper proposals for publication and subsequent presentation on the following topics, especially case studies:
 

• Drilling and Completions

• Production Engineering and Operations

• Reservoir Engineering and Simulations

• Management & Information

• Health, Safety and Environment

Proposals will be accepted online through 26 March 2024. Authors will be notified of acceptance in early May.

 

ORCID iD

SPE is adopting ORCID (Open Researcher and Contributor ID), a widely accepted unique identifier for authors, giving them control over their content and eliminating ambiguities. All SPE authors will be required to have an ORCID iD during abstract/paper submission starting January 1st, 2023.
