Johnathon Henke

John Henke is a second-year student attending Colorado School of Mines with his two older siblings in Golden, CO. John’s father exposed him to the energy industry at a young age and he ultimately decided to seek a career in oil and gas as a result of his desire to end energy poverty in the third world.

By pursuing dual degrees in Petroleum Engineering and Computer Science, John plans to apply his engineering knowledge and programming abilities to further integrate digital innovation into the oil and gas industry while enabling the industrialization of underdeveloped nations.

John has interned in production in the Powder River Basin at Vermilion Energy, and this most recent summer, he worked at Chevron as a Permian Drilling & Completions Intern.
