Fracpacking for Sand Control
This course is for both the novice and the experienced practitioner. It will demonstrate why fracpack technology has become popular as a sand control method. This will include defining some basic terminology associated with the two technologies that lead to successful fracpacking. Then cover basic information needed for designing and planning the execution of a fracpack sand control completion. It will also cover some selected topics regarding the technology regarding the execution issues (e.g. TSO, NS-plots, & Calibration testing) and evaluation of the installed completion. These include the definition of an execution scorecard and using this scorecard to define operating limits (e.g. Event timing, annular pack assessment, mechanical integrity).
Gain a better understanding of the elements of fracpacking that are crucial to success and longevity. Learn how to compose a scoring method to quickly assess installation quality as well as long term productivity expectations.
Individuals involved in planning, implementing the execution, installing, and evaluating fracpack completions.
A calculator or tablet with spreadsheet capability will be needed for some basic calculations.
0.8 CEUs (Continuing Education Units) are awarded for this 1-day course.
