Energy4me, the Society of Petroleum Engineers’ (SPE) energy education outreach programme, is inviting 50 U.A.E. science teachers (grades 9–12) to learn how to teach energy topics in a hands on, innovative way during ATCE!

Educators will receive comprehensive, objective information about the scientific concepts of energy and its importance, while discovering the world of oil and natural gas exploration and production. A variety of free instructional materials will be available to take back to the classroom.


Presentation on Oil and Gas Exploration and Production 

A keynote speaker will present the role of energy in our everyday lives, followed by a brief question and answer period.

Hands-on Classroom Activities

Teachers will learn age-appropriate energy experiments that can energise their classrooms through hands-on activities provided by SPE Energy4me Instructors. 

Technology Tour

Industry professionals will lead teachers on an exhibit tour of the amazing high-tech tools, software, and equipment used by the oil and gas industry to find and produce energy resources around the world.

Attend the Workshop

Space is limited—only five applicants per school. Registration will open in May and end 11 September. You will be notified by 18 September via email if you have been accepted to attend this year’s conference.
