Desert Safari

USD 49 per person

Thursday, 29 September 2016

This a very popular tour in the UAE—dune bashing through the desert and camping in the Bedouin desert. Dinner will be included with unlimited select beverages (alcoholic beverages will be available at extra cost).

Your adventure begins with an exciting journey to the desert, leaving behind the hustle bustle of the city. Experienced desert guides will take you through a thrilling ride over the red sand dunes in Labab, deep into the heart of the desert.

After 30 minutes of dune bashing, you will arrive at a magnificent desert camp to witness the sunset and a warm, traditional Arabic welcome. This magical experience starts with Arabic coffee at the entrance combined with dates followed by Arabic delights such as Falafel and fresh Shawarma for those who would like to have a bite while exploring the camp site.

Sand quad bike and camel rides, pictures taken in the traditional dress, and shisha are just a few of the activities available at the camp. Belly dancing and Tanoora dance (a traditional Arabic dance) will also be part of the entertainment.

Take some time out to relax in the Arabic tents furnished with carpets and comfortable pillows for your comfort or sit by the campfire. Get a henna tattoo or take a picture with a falcon. The camp is equipped with toilets and offers an outdoor cooling system for everybody’s comfort.

Note: Desert safaris involve off-road driving through rugged country - which all adds to the excitement. However, because of the adventurous nature of the journeys and the rough terrain covered, passengers should not participate if their health or any pre-existing medical conditions (including heart ailments or back problems) may be adversely affected. For this reason expectant mothers, passengers with back conditions and passengers under the age of six years or over 65 years of age will not be accepted.

Dubai City Tour

USD 41 per person

Choose one day from Tuesday–Thursday, 27–29 September

This is the ideal tour to discover Dubai in a short time—the maximum that Dubai has to offer. You will be collected from your hotel and taken to the Dubai Creek where you will be welcomed with dates and Arabic coffee.

The first stop of the guided tour is the Dubai Museum, showcasing an impressive collection of information and artifacts about the history and life in Dubai and the UAE. You will then be taken to the Abra stations at the Creek for a special ride on traditional boats. These boats are still used today to get from one side of the creek to the other.

Once you arrive, discover the beauty and aromas of the Spice Souk before entering the glittering Gold Souk. The tour will continue on to the famous Jumeirah Mosque, cruising down the Jumeirah Beach Road until the Burj Al Arab, where you will get the opportunity to take a souvenir picture. From there, you pass by the Madinat Souk and continue to the Palm Jumeirah, a man-made island, passing by the amazing Atlantis Hotel.

The tour will proceed to Downtown, home to Burj Khalifa, the highest tower in the world. Attached to Burj Khalifa is The Dubai Mall, which includes the Dubai Fountain, Dubai Aquarium and the Underwater Zoo. As the mall is connected to the Metro, you may continue afterwards to explore on your own, or dropped back at the hotel.

NOTE: Guests should wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes for all tours. A hat and sunscreen are also recommended.
