Advisory Committee Chairman Message

The 2017 SPE/IATMI Asia Pacific Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibition (APOGCE), will be held from 17-19 October 2017 in Jakarta, Indonesia.

On behalf of SPE and IATMI, we are pleased to invite you and your organisation to participate in this important regional technical conference. APOGCE is the premier upstream technical conference in the Asia Pacific region, covering the broadest range of disciplines involved in exploration and production activities. APOGCE draws together over 1,000 industry experts and professionals and provides an important platform for technology dissemination, knowledge sharing and collaboration at regional and global scales.

The continued weakness in oil price has compelled organisations to examine and seek optimal strategies to combat the challenges faced by the industry. New perspectives and new competencies, along with new operating and development methods, are imperative for the industry to remain competitive amidst the volatility.

In consideration of the continually shifting landscape of today’s energy sector and the importance of remaining resilient in the continued challenges faced by the industry, the theme of the conference is “Energy Resilience through Efficiency, Collaboration and Technology.”

As the 2017 APOGCE Advisory Committee Chairman, it is my pleasure to invite your organisation to sponsor and exhibit at this event. Participating in APOGCE will provide a unique opportunity for your organisation to showcase your new and emerging technologies, and enhance your company profile amidst a diverse group of industry technical and management professionals.

Thank you in advance for your participation. On behalf of the organising committees, we look forward to your support in making 2017 APOGCE a success.
