Energy4me – Train the Trainer/Teacher

Wednesday, 30 October 2019, 0900-1400 hours, Legian 1 & 2, Mezzanine Floor

The workshop will equip attendees with the basic training to plan and deliver the Energy4Me workshop for students. It will highlight the importance and benefits of reaching out to local communities and educating students and teachers about science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education as well as the energy industry, including oil and gas, with the use of various hands-on activities. These educational hands-on activities are designed to both illustrate scientific concepts and engineering functions used in oil and gas exploration and production; and cultivate critical thinking and problem-solving skills in participants.

The objective is to get participating students to consider STEM education and pursue a career in the energy, and oil and gas industries, which in turn ensures a positive flow of future talent for the industry.
